Brian's practice focuses on business development and governmental relations with an emphasis on development and regulatory matters. He serves as counsel for both domestic and international business interests in the areas of planning and development, financing, compliance, and real estate. Brian is well versed in the area of mining and minerals and represents mining and energy companies and private landowners in the non-metallic mining (frac sand) industry.
Navigating clients through the government process is an integral part of Brian's practice. He represents clients at all levels of government with extensive experience in land use, permitting and licensing, administrative process matters, and transportation.
Originally from Cornell, Wisconsin, Brian received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse (with highest honors) and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Wisconsin Law School (cum laude). Brian, his wife Andrea, and their children reside in Menomonie where Andrea serves as Dunn County District Attorney. From 2010 - 2015, Brian was named a Rising Star by Milwaukee Magazine. In his free time, Brian enjoys pheasant hunting and is a horse racing enthusiast.
