Rita's practice is focused on representing clients in all family matters including divorce, custody and placement, child support and maintenance actions, paternity, third-party visitation rights ("grandparents" rights), guardianships, CHIPS actions, and marital property agreements. Rita's practice, however, is concentrated in divorces involving farms, complex businesses, and valuation issues. Rita is committed to representing her client zealously, while recognizing the benefit of maintaining the business entity as an ongoing operation.
Rita is originally from Fall Creek, Wisconsin, and is a 1999 graduate of the University of Wisconsin and a 2003 graduate of the University of Wisconsin Law School. Rita is a supplemental court commissioner for Eau Claire County, is an active member of local bar associations, the State Bar of Wisconsin, as well as local civic organizations. In her free time, Rita enjoys travelling, reading, and outdoor activities such as hunting, hiking, and gardening.
